Silk & Sorcery was created by Jo, whose background spans both the events industry and the art departments of film and television.

Working across set dressing, prop making, and spatial styling — including under directors such as Wes Anderson — her approach is focused on shaping how a space looks and feels.

Fabric draping has become a natural extension of this work, used to define, soften, and transform a space.

​

With a strong preference for making by hand, Jo works across a range of materials — from fabric through to more constructed elements — using aquired skills to create one-off pieces and sculptural forms.

Silk & Sorcery offers a design-led approach to event draping and fabrication, creating backdrops and hand-made elements that bring something distinctive to weddings and events.
