TERMS & CONDITIONS

By confirming your booking, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Booking & Payment

  • All bookings must be paid in full prior to dispatch.

  • Your booking is only confirmed once full payment has been received.

  • All hires are shipped directly to you (the customer) — not to venues.

Nature of Hire

This is a dry hire (DIY) service.

  • All drapes are pre-styled and ready to hang

  • A modular frame system and instructions are included

  • No installation is included unless otherwise agreed

If you require assistance during setup, please contact us — we are happy to help guide you.

Responsibility & Care

Once your hire arrives, you are the caretaker of the drape and all components.

These pieces are handcrafted and should be treated with care and respect — like a piece of art.

You are responsible for:

  • Safe setup

  • Monitoring while installed

  • Proper pack down

  • Returning all items in original condition

If you are unable to supervise the setup or installation, you must assign someone responsible to act as caretaker.

Outdoor Use & Safety

Our drapes can be used outdoors at your own risk, but strict care must be taken.

  • Do not install in windy conditions

  • Do not leave installed overnight outdoors

  • Do not leave exposed to rain or wet conditions

  • Do not drag fabric on the ground

⚠️ Drapes act like a sail and can become dangerous in wind.

If installing outdoors, you must use appropriate stabilisation such as:

  • Weights or sandbags

  • Or securely anchoring with stakes (e.g. waratahs)

Failure to properly secure the structure may result in damage and liability.

Cleaning & Damage

  • Drapes must be returned in clean, dry condition

  • Extreme soiling will incur a $400 cleaning fee

Any damage will incur:

  • Repair costs, or

  • Replacement costs ranging from $100 – $4000 depending on severity

You will also be liable for:

  • Loss of income if subsequent bookings cannot be fulfilled due to damage or late return

Returns & Collection

  • Your hire must be packed down and ready for collection on the agreed date (next business day unless arranged otherwise)

  • Items must be complete and in original condition

Late returns:

  • Will incur an additional hire fee for every 5 days the items are not collected

Trust-Based System

We do not take bonds.

We operate on trust — please respect this.

Any damage, loss, or breach of terms will be invoiced accordingly.

Cancellations

  • Cancellations must be made at least 1 month prior to your event

  • If your booking was made within one month of the event, cancellations must be made at least 2 weeks prior

Cancellations outside of these timeframes may not be eligible for refund.

Faults & Equipment Issues

If your frame or components are faulty or you are unable to erect the structure:

  • Contact us immediately

  • We will assist in troubleshooting

  • If required, we will arrange a replacement solution locally at our cost

Support

Clear instructions are included with your hire.

Agreement

By proceeding with your booking and payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
